Double Cross Vodka Packaging

Posted On May 23rd, 2008.

Bottle designed by the firm Capsule, it’s almost like a perfume bottle with how jewel like it is. Would probably hate to throw this thing away, much less break it over a bar and threaten some over aggressive drunk with the jagged edges like I usually do.

WIP: The Galiwag

Posted On May 23rd, 2008.

I’m working on a blog redesign for Galison, the company I work for right now. It’s something a bit different from what I usually do, but it’s always fun to switch things up a little bit. This is what the mock looks like for now, hoping to get approval to go ahead tomorrow.

I’m not a big fan of tennis, although Cathrine sure is. However, if tennis is anything like this in the future, well sign me up.

The Spirit: Frank Miller is at it again

Posted On May 14th, 2008.

I’m a big fan of Frank Miller, the guy can do no wrong. My appreciation for his work probably has something to do with my fondness for the “Film Noir” style he uses. I’ve always liked those old detective movies from the 40’s and 50’s and actresses and actors like Marlene Dietrich and Humphrey Bogart.

Let’s not even get to some of the amazing posters created back then, they put 99 percent of current movie posters to shame, I’ll round up some of my favorites in another post.

Well, Miller’s latest project is The Spirit, and he’s directing this one. You can catch an early teaser on Youtube, and it’s very reminiscent of Sin City, for obviously reasons. The poster, however, looks great. I can’t wait for the film to come out, although it’ll be bit of a wait since it is a 2009 release.
