Created this a while ago (when it was still relevant) as a joke around the office, they idea was to use them as sticky notes when reminding others to file their T.P.S. Reports or whatever else.

Fall is my favorite time of the year, kicking off with my birthday in early September and all the way till the end of Christmas. The weather is perfect to be both inside and outdoors, all the cheesy seasonal cartoons and shows are on TV and plenty of excuses to eat great food and drink bad beer.

With that in mind (the season, not the beer), I made an illustration based on a Halloween themed Kleenex box prototype I created while at Pratt, which I should probably get on the blog at some point.

I decided to try my hand at a series exploring illustrating type to depict cultural taboos. The first is one of the most ancient and globally accepted ones, cannibalism. As usual, click for a larger image.

Thanks to everyone that voted. The final score ended up not being so great but the process was fun none-the-less.

My blogging has slowed down because we’re in the middle of an apartment hunt and it’s been pretty rough going. The worst part is even after you find the place, the worst is still ahead because that’s when all the manual labor starts. Not looking forward to this at all.

My “I Wish I Could Hug The World” Tee made it on Threadless.com! Threadless, for those that have never visited the site, is a site where designers can submit their own clothing and print illustrations and have them voted on for a chance to have them printed.

Here’s a quick, simple graphic t-shirt I cooked up. It probably works best as a girls-tee, hence the hot pink but I think it could work on any color. There is an accompanying illustration that will go with the shirt that I’m still working on, so look out for that.

I got some feedback from some female friends and some weren’t feeling the hot pink so I included a mock-up of the black version as well since we all know black goes with everything.
